The Dentist Clinic with our team of specialists and our own dentistry laboratory has been known for high quality, durable and natural-look & feel result of Inlay and Onlay.
We use “Ceramage” (made of Zirconium Silicate) as the material for inlays and onlays, the technique to repair damaged teeth where simple filling or crown is not suitable.
A Ceramage inlay is similar to a filling and lies inside the cusp tips of the tooth. A Ceramage onlay is a more extensive reconstruction that covers on the outside of one or more cusps of a tooth. Inlay/onlay job requires a very precise piece of work to ensure the perfect fitting. We could call it a dental art to be created by specialized dentists.
Inlay and Onlay Procedures
- Firstly, the dentist makes an impression of the tooth/teeth and sends the impression to the dental laboratory. A temporary sealant will be applied on the tooth.
- Secondly in approximately one week, the dentist removes the temporary sealant and fits inlay/onlay.
- Lastly, in the following week, the dentist follows up with you to ensure that the inlay/onlay fits comfortably and does not interfere with your bite or creates any sensitivity. A final
polish work may be needed.

Inlay and Onlay with Ceramage ensures a natural look and long lasting filling. Proper oral care including brushing at least twice a day and flossing helps extending the usage of inlay and onlay.
