          Straumann SLActive is a ITI implant with SLA surface. It quickly attracts blood and proteins, potentially promoting the process of bone formation around the implant to give it increased early stability. These properties accelerate the healing process of osseointegration so that early bone-to-implant contact is significantly increased around the whole surface – not just the thread contours. This in turn results in greater implant stability, especially in the critical early stage of healing. Immediate loading is possible on SLActive® implants when good stability is achieved in healthy patients with good bone quality.
